ATP Release Wave
	Propagated wave of ATP release.  The pseudocolor movie shows the release of ATP from the retinal surface, as imaged using the luciferin-luciferase bioluminescence assay.  Mechanical stimulation of the retina initiates ATP release which propagates outwards symmetrically from the point of stimulation.  Maximal ATP concentration at the site of stimulation (white in the pseudocolor movie) is 80 mM.  Width of image, 480 mm.  From Newman, J Neurosci. 21:2215-23, 2001.
