Outreach Activities

The inaugural Minnesota Brain Awareness Week activities in 1996 were co-organized by Robert F. Miller and Tim Ebner with administrative support from Rosemary Miller, Jennifer Sherwin & Jon Gottesman.
The week of activities mobilized the entire Neuroscience community at the University. It attracted over 3,700 students and adults from across the state to come to campus to engage in hands on demonstrations, see the "Neuron and Glia" play, visit laboratories, view demonstrations and attend lectures and seminars.
Below is a copy of the announcement mailed to schools and also the program schedule.
